We Ain't Got No Car! #7 The newest issue of this long-running, sporadically-produced 'zine is a novel wherein the author copes with his mid-twenties in Portland, Oregon, while reminiscing on change and departure. It is a tale of familial bonds, anti-corporate sentimentality, alienation and bargain bin compact discs. This would appeal to readers of publications such as Cometbus and Burn Collector.

About:
We Ain't Got No Car! has been published by Jack Saturn since 1995 in various sizes and formats. What originally began as a fairly by-the-numbers music and miscellany zine eventually coalesced into the literary marvel (ha!) that you will find it to be today. The text of this one was written intermittently between late 2001 and early 2003. The dimensions are 5.5 inches by 4.25 inches "quarter-sized," as zine slang goes and there are 256 pages. The cover is beautifully letterpressed and the whole thing is perfect bound.
